As a follow-up to the git workshop, I would like to announce an ansible basics workshop held on Tuesday (2015-08-04) at 20:00. Ansible is simple yet powerful tool for configuring and managing (unix-like) computers. The aim of this (and following) workshops will be to set up a personal "cloud" - server that provides useful services but is fully under your control (like [1]). If you'd like to attend, please sign up here[2]. If you're interested but the date doesn't work for you, please also write your name and preferred date to the etherpad. b. [0] http://wiki.base48.cz/InfraHacking [1] https://github.com/sovereign/sovereign [2] http://piratepad.net/infra-hacking-ansible-workshop
If you are planning to attend and would like to try hands-on exercises, please bring a laptop. It would be great if you also had a fresh install of your favorite linux distribution running on a virtualization platform of your choice (virt-manager, Virtualbox ...), but I can set up some VMs on my laptop if need be. The workshop will be in English unless all attendees are Czech. On Fri, Jul 31, 2015 at 15:30:11 +0200, Martin Milata wrote:
