Bike for sale — help a fellow hacker!

Hey folks, I'm trying to sell the bike I bought here in Brno — some of you may have seen me repairing it in Base48. It's a blue mid-90's Favorite Special, about 46cm tall. It has a lightweight Chro-Moly frame and racing components. It was recently tuned up and lubed, with brand new cables and trued wheels. It has a leather saddle, indexed down-tube shifters, and a rack for carrying luggage on the back. I'm asking 4500kč, or your best offer. I reeeeeally need to sell it because I'm short on cash and about to leave to go through the Balkans, so if you need a cheap bike and you want to help out a fellow hacker, let me know! -Matthew

Ohai hackers, I've been asked to spread the word about some potentially fun activism one girl from Pelech is organizing. Some of you might be interested, the rest of you feel free to ignore the message. On Wednesday, the 23rd of May, the plan is to dress-up as bankers and go "protest" against the so called Protestfest, the Occupy movement and other "scumbags". :) The whole mock-up is to draw attention to the standpoint the actual people with power are taking, although they usually do it off the streets. Hi, The evening of Thursday 17 I'll be in Brno with a friend and we heard we're welcome to visit Base 48. We're from The Netherlands and although we're both not a member of a Dutch hackerspace, we visit them sometimes and know some nice people from there. A little info about us: I've finished a security-related education and I'm now working as software developer. I'm also one of the founders of a hacker-oriented mobile phone operator in The Netherlands (which is in startup phase right now).
